Wilbur C. Emory


Wilbur C. Emory, 98, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday August 13, 2008. He was born February 1, 1910, a son of William and Bertha (Andre) Emory in Scioto County.

Wilbur is survived by his children; Beverley (William) Wilson of Urbana, Conrad (Rosalee) Emory of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, Rick Tullis, Dan Tullis, Marcy Hahn, Randy Tullis, Lucinda Ronk, Bob Tullis, Mandy Wilson, Matt Wilson, Melissa Emory, Lorrinda Gordon, Damon Emory, Amanda Glancy; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Modena of VA. Wilbur is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Opal (Stulley) Emory; his parents; 9 siblings.

Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Friday August 15, 2008 in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home, where service will be held 10AM Saturday August 16, 2008 with Pastor Kenny Ronk officiating. Interment to follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.
