Delores I. (Dee) Entler


Delores I. "Dee" Entler, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2007 in the Mercy Medical Center. She was born on June 15, 1934 in Gallipolis, Ohio the daughter of V. Wayne and Fern A. (Lamm) Balch.

Dee retired as a Banquet Waitress from the Springfield Inn after more than five years of service. Prior to her time at the Springfield Inn she was employed by the Holiday Inn and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge. She was a member of the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Dee is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Paul R. Entler of Springfield, three daughters and a son-in-law: Carolyn Daugherty, Sheri DeWine, and Missi and Denny Parrett all of Springfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Donna Daugherty of Springfield, one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Ethel Balch of Springfield, eight grandchildren: Kelly Jo, Tyler, Stephanie, Mandie, Danielle, Abbey, Matthew, and Natalie, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 5-8 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where the service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am with Pastor James E. Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
