Wilma J. Clark


Wilma J. Clark, 83, of South Solon, died Thursday morning, July 24, 2008 in her residence following a brief illness.

She was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia on July 21, 1925 the daughter of John William and Viney (Rainey) Rodgers.

Wilma retired from Proctor Conference Center following over twenty years of service. She loved gardening and fishing but her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Paul Hughes of South Charleston; son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Kelly Clark of Springfield; a dear friend and companion, Joe Bays of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Margie (Dan) Clark of South Charleston; a brother, Kenneth Rodgers of London; six grandchildren, Tammy (Dennis) Givens, Todd Hughes, Tracy Hughes, Ty Hughes, and Will and Emma Clark; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Wilma's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Daniel M. Powell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
