William R. Camden


William R. Camden, 74, of Springfield died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.

He was born November 25, 1932 in Springfield the son of George and Lola (Reed) Camden.

He retired from Kenosha Auto Transport after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of the F.O.E. #397, Union Club and Teamsters Retirees Local 654.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years Mona, four children and spouses Bill Camden, Marilyn Johnson, Catherine and Rodgers O'Neill all of Springfield, Carol and Wayne Hillis, South Vienna, Ohio, Step son and spouse Victor and Donna Wilson, Mechanicsburg, Ohio; two brothers and sisters-in-law Fred and Martha Camden Sr., South Vienna, Ohio, Don and Nancy Camden, Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many good friends including Jim Adams, Ed Hubbard and Les Mershon.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Jack and Warren Camden.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. John's Transitional Unit and Mercy Medical Center Emergency Room and three south for the wonderful care and support they provided for Bill.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ohio Parkinson Foundation Southwest Region.
