Jerry W. Crites


Jerry W. Crites, 62, of Urbana, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center - East High St. Campus. He was born on February 11, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Charles E. Jr. and Fern (Kettelsen) Crites.

He graduated from Northeastern High School and went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service he worked at Robbins & Myers retiring after thirty years.

Jerry is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Deborah (Wallen) Crites of Urbana, one daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Nick Rouch; two sons and a daughter-in-law: James Wallen and William and Stacy Crites all of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, James S. and Beverly Crites of Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY.
