R. Casey Clemons


R. Casey Clemons, 49, of Springfield, died at 7:10 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 in Springfield.

He was born February 23, 1959 to Edward G. and Marilyn (Riley) Clemens, Jr.

Casey owned and operated Casey's Restaurant for over20 years. He was a member of the Springfield County Club.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Clemens; 2 brothers and spouses, Mike and Dawn Clemens and Pat and Shelly Clemens all of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Erin, Brian, Kristen and Nathen Clemens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Private inurnment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the medical staff of Springfield Regional Medical Center-Fountain Campus. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central High School Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
