Arnold C. Conley


Arnold C. Conley, 77, of Springfield died Sunday, March 2, 2008 in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus, Ohio following two months illness.

He was born March 10, 1930 in West Liberty, Kentucky the son of Atlee and Addie (Hutchinson) Conley.

Mr. Conley retired from Robertson Can Company with forty years service and was a longtime member of Eagles 397.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Juell (Blair) Conley; two sons and daughters-in-law Eddie A. and Julie Conley, John W., Sr. and Barbara Conley; one daughter Viola Sue Conley, all of Springfield; twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three children Michael and Frank Conley and Patty Campbell; four brothers Winford, Winfield, Robert and Harry Conley; two sisters Blanche Stacy and Magalene Cantrell.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
